EXT IN? Help Please

Hi there, I have ordered a buget system which are the Denon AVR-1602 av receiver and the aego5 speaker system. The aego5 comes without a decoder box which came with the original aegoP5 system. My question is, will i be able to connect the aego5 system directly into the Denon AVR-1602, through the EXT IN? or will i have to cut off the speaker cables sheathing and phono connection at one end, to wrap around the binding posts? If i do have to cut off the phono ends do i just connect the sub phono to the SUB WOOFER PRE-OUT? Thanks for your help and advise in advance

Yes, as I replied before - the Denon receiver will replace the decoder box, so yes bare wires to the receiver, and the sub should work fine off the receiver's subwoofer pre-out
