Hi all,
I am seeking for advise.
I have a TV and 2 Bose ceiling speakers installed on the first floor. These speakers are connected to a Denon AVR downstairs via RCA cables that are hidden behind the walls. Unfortunately, I don't have the option to re-route or add more RCA cables without significant renovation work.
My TV is connected to the AVR via HDMI ARC, and I have 3 HDMI cables running from the TV location to the AVR, though I’m only using one of them right now. So in total I have a 2-speakers setup (Left and Right), with the centre channel being split between them.
I’d like to upgrade the setup by adding a subwoofer and a dedicated centre speaker for a more immersive sound experience. Is there any way I can utilize the spare HDMI cables or perhaps use HDMI pass-through features or HDMI to RCA converters to connect additional speakers and subwoofer to the AVR? I’m open to adding extra devices if needed.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
