I am able to go into a say either richer or superfi and ask them to put airlocs on my existing qed micro if I am able will I notice a difference or am I better upgrading to say the silver anniversary with airlocs on.

P.s I only want in on the amp end.

You may as well get some easy fit, usually with a screw banana plugs off Amazon or ebay. Soldering on or the Airloc, which I suspect is just soldered makes for a more secure connection, but that only helps if you are likely to be pulling at your speaker cable.

I think I am better of with the airlocs as the way I have my cable I am allways pulling it and I am useless with any soldering. But that's just my opinion

In that case the Airloc may well help. For less money the screw banana plugs will also help. Do not expect and difference in sound quality.

I take i'll hear a difference if upgrade the speaker cable to the aniversary.

The Airloc is crimped on, using a dedicated - and rather expensive - device.
