Eversolo DMP-A10 Room EQ and PEQ

This video is not clickbait, but it brings up some serious issues, and still makes me wary of unestablished (as opposed to Dirac for e.g.) equalisation of any kind.

The reviewer, who bought the A10, thus has only himself to blame. Whether that's due more to naivety or stupidity will be up for debate.

I didn't watch the video but room EQ/DSP is a bit of a hit and miss thing. Of the active speakers I've had from KEF and B&W I was never impressed with the built in options and thought they all reduced SQ as opposed to diligent placement and some simple room treatments.

The WiiM Pro I am using has very simple but pretty effective DSP and, if used carefully, doesn't do a half bad job but I would always look at the more basic, non DSP options first unless I have no choice.

I have not used DIRAC so can't comment.
