Just got this message when trying to reply to "Recommendations for a new Media Player" right after JD's commment about £4.50.

Sorry, an error has occurred.

The administrator has been informed and we're fixing the problem.

Tried several times and kept getting the same message.

Well this is a major step forward, actually seeing an error page instead of the yellow screen of death. Thanks to Mel for that one

But more seriously, did you just refresh after you got the error? Because all that will do is refresh the error page, not the page that led you to the error.

Errr, no. Went back until I reached the post form and resubmitted. Then went to the original thread and clicked reply.

I've done a bit of web development myself, so.....

Just checking (since a lot of our recorded errors are people refreshing the error page).

In which case, won't know till tomorrow, and even then it might be just bad luck...

OK. No worries. Just thought I'd flag it up.

Might be useful to include an error code....even if it's meaningless to me. Just a thought.
