(Good amp, had one briefly a couple of years back, but too similar to my then Marantz amp that was on its way out - cracking build and smart understated looks - nice one!)

Lovely amp, that. Never tried the two together but I can only imagine that it's greater than the sum of it's parts. Let us know how you get on.

I just outed my Audio Analogue Bellini Pre and Donizetti Power.

Replaced with Parasound Halo P3 and A23 Power Amp.

Really happy with the Pre, but cant get on with the A23.

Just bought a mint Lyngdorf SDA2175 Power Amp.

The neighbours are going to love it.

The Bellini Pre went to Scotland and the Power Amp went to Belgium.

Keep checking Flea Bay, there rare but do appear, if you want to really do it, watch out for the Donizetti Mono Blocks, now there really rare.

The joys of box swapping, the Halo A23 is sacked.

The Lyngdorf SDA 2175 Power arrived this morning and I am in love.

Possible the best amplifier i have owned in 40 odd years.

Balanced connection from the P3.

The detail, soundstage, bass, are simply supurb, it goes loud with out sounding strained, no harshness and takes the slight edge of the Dalis. Even the other half commented how good it sounds.

This is a keeper.

Good stuff.

Do you just wire your speakers from the Lyngdorf and just use the p3 as a pre (no bi-amp)?

The old Lyngdorf look's a beast!!!

Still trying to get over how good the remote control for my puccini is....

The Halo P3 is just a Pre Amp.

I have an Ecosse Bi Wire set 2 into 4 from the Lyngdorf to the Dalis.

Dont ask me what the model number is, but it,s the one that has two different cables, thick one for the bass and i think a solid core cable for the treble. Bought in 2005 and it,s staying. Supurb cable.

The Maestro Settanta I'll be selling in a couple of weeks has one of those, they are really heavy. Mind you the amp weighs a ton too.

igglebert:All amps sound the same.Hang on, scrub that...

I will write a review of the Tucana II but I will be very surprised, and pleased, if it is much better than the Maestro Settanta.
