So. While doing my bi-weekly trawl for Arcam gear on eBay, I happened upon a very familiar looking rack, with a 192 for sale.

I'm guessing the Unison is a hit then?

crusaderlord:I am really interested in this thread and would love to hear what you think Joel when you get the CD player in place.Only this week i re-read all the reviews i have of the Unison Unico CDE player and the amps with a view to maybe getting a demo at some stage. A recent work promotion leaves me thinking this could be a nice reward upgrade for me.So do tell what you think v the Arcam - i am keen to know. I love the look of the Unison and may (after a load of house decorating) get a chance to look into this. That said there is nothing wrong with my current system - im just being greedy really.

It's a very nice sound indeed. Hooked it up at about 8pm, have since been out for a meal with the Doris, and the babysitter has been listening to it all night.

It's extremely smooth, yet very involving; it should be though as it's an almighty piece of kit. Missus thinks it's ugly but she'll come round.

I can imagine sitting listening for many many hours.

I want the amp now, and I've already suggested that it may be best for us to cut down the number of boxes...

It has a presence both visually and sonically. Very nice indeed. Laid back but that's what I like. I will test it with some upbeat stuff over the next few days.

If you want a demo, book one at UKD in Slough, they have loads of very nice kit.
