Hi,

I am looking to order two Emotiva monoblocks and was wondering whether anyone in this forum has purchased from them and had them delivered to the UK.

Am I right that UK customs will charge me VAT at 17% of purchase price?

They'll charge you VAT plus duty: it usually ends up at about 22% or so. Plus the shipping company will no doubt impose a fee for clearing the goods through customs and then billing you for the charges, which is often around £10, or a percentage of the tax/duty charged.
