You found out how to start a new thread ten? Great.Does anyone have Elipson Prestige Facet 34F speakers? I'm about to buy it, but there's a dilemma between it and Focal Aria Evo X No 4.
Each of them has something I like or dislike, so your impressions on Elipson are very valuable to me....Thank you all!
TYYou found out how to start a new thread ten? Great.
Never heard either of those speakers though.
you are definitely right...however, I prefer Focal but also like these Elipson, so dilemma stays but I must decide somehow......£1000 Big price difference Elipson £2995 Focal £3995
I think it pretty much depends on what amplifier you intend to use these with and your room size.you are definitely right...however, I prefer Focal but also like these Elipson, so dilemma stays but I must decide somehow......

You are going to need something pretty powerful for those
Best of luck.Pre amp Rotel 1590 mkll, amp Rotel 1582 mkll, there is plenty of power for any speakers, but still waiting someone who has Elipson 34F to share impressions
TY! So, having in mind you are into Focal speakers, maybe you can help here: two details repulsing me from these Focals: 1.Tweeter is on top so sitting has to be up 2. they declare 92,5 db sensitivity, bet some independent test says it's just 89,5 db. I like higher sensitivity in order to get all tones even on low powerBest of luck.
They do not appear to sell well in the UK.
You should be fine with either speaker using that good amplifier combo, it was just the Focals impedance can drop to 2.6ohm which requires an amplifier vwith good current delivery.
I think you are digging too deep into figures.TY! You are very realistic, like your comments very much. So, regardless of price, wich ones you would prefer and why? Hearing at my home with my amplification is not possible cause dealers can have it only upon confirmed and downpayed order.I think you are digging too deep into figures.
You are not going to notice the difference between 92.5 and 89.5dB.
Most speakers are designed with tweeter uppermost.
No idea what " has to be up 2" means nor it's relevance .
Even if someone here does own the Elipsons it is doubtful they will be using your amplification and, anyway, their hearing wil be different to yours.
I stick with my suggestion that you don't buy any speakers that you cannot audition first, preferably in your own home and certainly at this price.

What would you buy?I have no preference.
Personally I wouldn't buy either.
are you familiar with that Elipson? Not £2500

I wouldn't buy either because I couldn't audition them and both are too big for my listening room. What would you buy?
I wouldn't buy either because I couldn't audition them and both are too big for my listening room.
The question is pretty irrelevant as I don't have your ears or listening room.
If I was spending that sort of money on speakers for myself I would be looking at ProAc DT8 or similar, possibly Revival Audio
I've just seen ProAc and Revival, to be honest, never heard of them....So far Focal is favorite one, still.........However, you are really good in this matterI wouldn't buy either because I couldn't audition them and both are too big for my listening room.

what do you mean more power? That comes from the amplifier.DT8 are 2-way, I want 3-way and more power...Focal A.E. X No 4 still favorite.....
it comes from amplifier but speaker has to be capable to handle it.......I'll wait for some other suggestions till next monday, then place order. I have good speakers now (mission) but have feeling to miss some tones, thats why I need new ones, have to be sure about it.what do you mean more power? That comes from the amplifier.
if you are so intent on the Focals go and buy them......
