A company has come to this forum; asked what we wanted; gone off and built it bespoke to our whims (exceptionally well according to the magazine reviews); and is now selling it. Who would not want that!? As far as I have seen they have always been open and have recommended that people should look at alternative brands as well.

So what if ('if' should be in italics) they self bump threads. We've read the reviews now we want to hear from the people who have actually bought them to get their opinion.

I'm sure drummerman's intentions are earnest, but unverified accusations (whether ultimately correct or not) run the risk of scaring off a valued new forum member, or the equally valued input from an industry specialist. Let the mods worry about it. Meant in the kindest possible way, if this thread is not for you then there are plenty of others to move on to...

The people, well ... some satisfied customers have spoken and so be it. The speakers seem to be good and the guy himself seems amicable, whatever marketing strategy they may use. I made my point and if unfounded, apologize to Rick.

I've been one of the posters on this thread in the past but only out of curiosity. How often do you get to converse with the actual designer of hi-fi products?

In an age where 95% of everything is mass produced in China the EB Acoustics project has been a welcome breath of fresh air.

Andrew Everard,

That is very disappointing news indeed, and quite frankly a wasted golden opportunity.

Ronald

I hate AV. Always have. If I want to see a film, I go to the cinema. However, much to your surprise, EBC will happen. Bit busy at mo but will look into it.

Did you mean EB3 instead of "EBC"? I would be very very interested if you decided to produce a small floorstander about the size of Quad 21L2, Spendor A5, PMC GB1i...

I have been reading about the EB2 with a lot of curiosity and I have been considering to give it a try, but this time I think I want to go with floorstanders. Is this what EB Acoustics have in mind? Please, build the perfect compact floorstanders (keep the black gloss finish!) for my Primare I30.

Last question: When will it be ready?

PS - I'm not trying to keep the thread alive... just interested in whatever Rick from EB Acoustics has in mind about this!

Bumping threads eh???. Proof? None!!!. And what you are accusing me of is precisely the reason I don't post as often now. However, I would like to thank you drummerman because through your sneid accusations, you've done a better job of bumping the threads than I could ever do. Keep it comin. I love it.

Deep breath: the problem is, max, that a forum poster seems to be suggesting that the manufacturer in question is either bumping it itself, or using aliases to do so, in order to ensure the topic remains prominent.

There is no evidence to suggest any such subterfuge.

Sorry, I just had to. Nearly wet myself.

But yes, enough said. Let's leave it here as indicated to AE some days ago.
