I don't like the idea of spending a fortune replacing my DVD collection so...I'm interested in getting a player that's going to upscale my DVDs well but after researching I can't seem to find any reviews on current standalone DVD players that upscale. All I can go is customer feedback which isn't giving the confidence to commit to one of these models.
I've looked at the
Sony DVP-SR760H
Toshiba SD3005
Samsung E360
and the Philips 3000/2000 series.
What I'd really like to know is how well these units are built because it seems to me these companies are only interested in putting out budget DVD models and would I be better off investing in a Blu Ray player that's better built, has better more user friendly features and and provides a higher quality image?
