Dvd to nas.

Hi, last month I purchased a Buffalo linkstation 4tb nas to go with my sonos+linn system+laptop and iPad. Ripping my cds is going ok apart from not always getting the art work,using power2 go, my problem is how do I load my dvd films on to the nas and play via LG 47in flat screen,I cannot find a totally free program or a paid program without getting pop ups and junk mail included,any step by step help would be very much appreciated.

You could try Make MKV if your TV supports MKV files

Thanks eggontoast,tried mkv but just got pop ups and please take this survey+ pay what ever ,does every body pay for dvd to nas ripping programs if so what is a fair price, all I want to do is rip my DVDs to my nas, for my own use.

I hadn't used Make MKV for a while but I just downloaded the latest version for free, it works fine, no popups or ransom demands for money. The only thing is it is on a 30 day license so you have to download the latest beta version to reset this every 30 days or get the beta key every month.

I think your PC must be infected with a trojan or malware.

Cheers mate, I have only got the free AVG anti virus after 2 years with Vergin media own, so that might be the problem .
