I currently have a denon dvd1740 hooked up to a panasonic 42pz70 via a denon avr 3808. Im pretty happy with the combination but i do notice some noise on the dvds i'm playing when they are upscaled to 1080. The upscaling is being done by the 3808 as it has a better upscaling chip over the 1740.
Now im looking at getting the best out of my dvds as im still waiting for a more affordable bluray player that does everything i want it to do....
Can anyone recommend a top notch dvd player which will match up nicely with my equipment, budget of around 600-700 quid...
