DVD concerts is it possible to rip just the audio to itunes?

I have a number of cds that include a free dvd of a live concert - is it possible to just rip the audio tracks to itunes like it was a cd with no video???

Don't know if this is the same product but have had success with ImToo products in the past:

You could of course record it in real time with Audacity, which is free.

anyone know if these programs, or any other, allow you to just rip specific channels of a DVD, i.e. just the rear 2?
