No - the review is of that model and that model alone i.e. that size alone. TVs in other sizes of the same model may well have key differences (including different components used) which means that just because a TV of one size is fantastic, it doesn't necessarily mean all TVs of all sizes in that range will be as good.

In fact it should be took as a review of the particular set they have and not indicative of every set of that make/model/size, as sometimes sets of a particular make/model/size can vary from set to set.

Always go and get a demo of any set you are interested in and see how it looks to you.

When I asked a Sony rep during his online q&a on this site he confirmed that in models of same range but different screen size everything is the same except screen size.

Thanks all.

If all sizes are the same why review one particular size?

Because models within a range of course use different display panels for each size, and each size of panel may come from a different factory or, increasingly, manufacturer, so may have an effect on the performance, even if the basic electronics package used to drive the different displays is the same.

Indeed. Plus, of course, different screen sizes put the TV's processing engines under different pressures. For example, a range's upscaling capabilities may be perfectly adequate at a smaller screen size, but reveal shortcomings on larger sets
