Excitement over all the new TV's being announced.Disappointment at that already out of date December 2010 3D TV.

The worst bit? The wait...all TV's look good on paper but very few make the grade.

Going by early reports most makes admit 3D was a little naff (cross talk) on the 2010 models and have "improved" this on 2011 models. Who knows perhaps Philips will be able to make a high end TV without faults this year! (fingers crossed)

Hopefully Sony can get its higher end models (all with 3D gubbins built in now) out before October this time 🙂 Come March/April I look forward to a few WHFI super tests on the new models.

I find it quite boring to be honest, you never know how good these tvs are until you demo them yourself.

As for Philips making a good tv - i can't see it myself, the latest ones are cheap and nasty.

If Sony does make a great tv how much is this one going to cost - um £2500 again. As for supplies of it, no doubt limited again.

yes i love this time of year, the days are getting longer, i can feel spring in the air, and i'm hopefully going to be buying a pioneer kuro sometime soon

i dont no max panasonic have had a full year for the kuro boffins to work on the new screens.

i always thought last year was going to be a bit soon to merge all the techs.the only thing that could stop them this year is panasonics price point.

fingers crossed

Now hang on there. I've just bought a Philips and it seems pretty good to me. Cheap, but not nasty - looks infinitely better than the equivalently-priced Samsung or LG. And its 100 somethings whereas the rest are 50.

you have a point there nod, the 2010 v series sets were stunning but of course flawed, so yea, panasonic should produce a tv this year that's at least as good if not better..

timing is the key for me, if i have the funds for a kuro in the next couple of months and i can find one i'll buy it, i've always wanted one and i'm not into watching 3d cartoons..

but.... if i havn't got one by april i'll be keeping my eye on the new pana reviews too. although it's a little worrying that no reviewers picked up on the motion issues of this years sets, even though owners were reporting problems from the off...

you have a point in,a pionner kuro is special not just because of the pq but the badge

i always new my x type jag was just like my old mondeo but with a nice dress on and a couple of bells and whistles.so why did i love my jag so much more.

did the x type drive the same as a mondeo nod? i mean did it feel the very same? i would have thought that jaguar would have done something to make it more refined, quiter perhaps? just to make it feel classier.. or are they identical bar cosmetics?

to be fair my mondeo was 1.8 and nice my jag was 2.5 and quick, but then again i could drive the mondeo in snow.

yeah pretty much like the standard golf and your gti i guess. but maybe the mondeo giha with all the bits would have been closer.but i bet i would still take the jag.

give it a couple of years and i will get an xf (maybe
