Don't buy at all.
Sony headphones all have faulty designed charging port! It melts during charging and can (potentially) cause a fire!
Confronting them they firstly they state "The defect potentially concerns all manufacturers, not Sony specifically. It is the result of an accidental contamination of the Headphones USB port. It is considered as a misuse, not as a design flaw or as a poor manufacturing workmanship."
Statement that is false as other manufacturers (including all mobile phones!) can have charging port contaminated with dust or moisture and charging port doesn't melt!

Checking their user manual there's a statement one should not perspire while using headphones!!
Checking other manufacturer's manuals one can see SONY was aware of this fault. SONY states:
"When using the unit while you are perspiring If you touch the unit with wet hands, or put the unit in the pocket of a damp article of clothing, the unit may get wet."

After some additional argument and confronting them with B&W, Dali and Focal user manuals SONY admitted other manufacturers probably have "better technical solution" - actually confirming faulty design!
