does my amp have enough power for the

i've been reading a lot about the Cerwin-Vega XLS-6 speakers, and like what i read in terms of a budget option for bookshelf speakers. the only problem is, many reviewers point out that these are not very efficient speakers, so i'm wondering if my Cambridge Audio Azur 540R V2.0 will be powerful enough to get the most from these speakers.

any experience with either of these compenents, or alternative speakers in the EUR 100-200 range, would be welcome.

The Cerwin Vega's are as you say quite inefficient at 85dB however, unless you want rock concert volumes levels, your amp should drive them OK.

I assume you intend using them in a smallish room so they should be fine.
