Does Full Frequency Range Damage Small Speaker

Hello,

Any advice on this would be much appreciated. My AVR has developed a fault so I now only have a standard stereo amp to play with for a while.

Was thinking of driving two front speakers plus sub from it, (with sub doing own crossover). Question is, with no bass management, would this damage the satellites as they'll get the full frequency range? I have the Tannoy Arena speakers.

I've seen non-conclusive advice based on internet searches, and thought someone on here might be able to help.
