Does Apple TV support HD audio?

I am thinking of upgrading my receiver so i can play movies in true HD sound but as i use my Apple TV the most for watching HD movies can anyone tell me does the Apple TV play movies in True HD sound?

Well the HD TV shows/movies available from iTunes Store are currently all in standard Dolby Digital 5.1, rather than Dolby TrueHD or any of the other new HD Audio formats. It's the same with Sky HD content.

In short, it's Blu-ray where the HD Audio action currently is!

Not that I know of -I suspect because of the bandwidth involved (HD Audio files are HUGE!).
