Do you still enjoy your system?

Old thread ... but nevertheless here's my 2p worth.

Do I enjoy my system(s) .... yes, but, they will change at some point. Why?

We are always being presented with new, different and sometimes better ways to listen to and interact with music. So I don't mind changing stuff around a bit in order to experience these ... assuming they sound as good as what I have now. I will still hang on to the couple of bits of kit I have certain nostalgia for, but the rest can go. I do like to downsize / integrate where I can and I've yet to try some active / powered speakers so that might be next on the cards.

I haven't enjoyed it much of late simply for lack of time, life and other issues occupying me elsewhere.... Maybe absence makes the heart grow fonder, but listening to both vinyl and digital aspects of my system brought a smile to my face even though certain components are getting a little long in the tooth now.
