Do I need a PC to send music from a NAS to my Pioneer receiver??

Hello All

Silly question time!! I want to store my music digitally and create a juke box, but I dont really want to have to turn a pc on every time!!

Is there another way for me to do this? I accept I'll need a pc and software to get the music on to a NAS (don't I?), but it would be good if there was a way my 81' receiver could just pick up the music when i select that input!?

Any suggestions, greatly received.

As far as I am aware, there are no NAS to Amp options at present. There would need to be a PC or something like a Squeezebox involved.

What about an iPod and a dock???

That depends on the capabilities of your receiver. What's the model number?
