Do I need a DAC?

Very happy with cinema with Yam 2065 and Mezzos but I wonder what benefit a DAC would be for music. I play CDs thru Sony 560 via hdmi and FLAC thru a Seagate Theater plus thru hdmi. Would a DAC be suitable with my setup? I have no idea. And would I use analgue connections from where? Heeeelp!

Well you already have a DAC in the Yamaha which is being fed by the HDMI from the sources.

What do you have in mind when you are considering another DAC?
