Disconnecting turntable phono stage.

I have a Project debut speed box turntable which has a built in phono stage, does anyone know if it is possible to disable this to allow me to connect the turntable to my amps phono inputs (which also has a built in stage) thus allowing me to free an aux input which I now need for something else. thanks.

By surgery. Take it you've checked your tape input is faulty then?

You could try these splitters as an alternative (ignore the pre-order bit, they are available in store if you have one locally and check).
