Disco smile speakers!

I just learned the expression "Disco Smile" EQ.. which some loves some hates. I like it..

Which speakers in B&W 685 pricerange and under has these sound qualities?

Ive been thinking of B&W 685 and Rotel04SE, will these give me any disco? 😀

I've heard the 685s described as having that smile EQ, as well as being disparaged as being boom tizz spakers (all bass and treble).

I found them pretty well balanced and only ever got a slight sense of it.

Then again, stereophile also described the ATC SCM11s as follows

"I came to the conclusion that the SCM 11 had a touch of the "smile EQ" tonal character"
