Hello,

I have watched two films, can't recall the first ,but The Expendables 3 which I'm currently watching ,had a lot of vibrating noise when first placed in the drive. It's not doing it now.

I removed the disc, inserted another ,no noise . Put the Expendables back in ,no noise?

The Sony is only 4 months old, only ever heard this twice ,and it doesn't last. I have read it could be un-balanced discs ?. Any thought please

Thank you

Maybe just try many discs and see how many it happens on. Discs can be unbalanced some times. Do you have anything on top of the player or is the player on top of your AVR. At certain temps my CD player struggles to pick up discs but in the right tepm it works every time.

Otherwise I would take the player back if you can. Maybe see if anyone else with your player has reported the same issue.

Hi,

I read on various web sites of discs being un-balanced ,due to the ink?

I tried 4 discs straight after,no noise, put the Expendables back in,noise for a new seconds then stopped.

I returned the disc today, will try out the replacement this evening. Will update after .

Thanks for the reply
