Dilemna about existing wharfedale

Hi,

I've currently got 2 diamond 9.1 speakers just 2 years old which I have hooked up to my valve amp. I'm going to be getting a new hd tv, amp etc and I wanted to hook up the 2 diamond 9.1 to the pre out of the amp so i dont have to reconnect them to the valve each time i wanna listen. Now here's my problem, I need to buy a 9.1 cc and 2 9.1 speakers which will act as rears, however.... it seems like 9.1 is discontinued? Can the 10.1 be paired with the 9.1 or will I have to get rid of my two 9.1?

Yes, you can pair 9.1s with 10.1s: I'd use your existing speakers as the rears, and buy 10-series fronts and centre.

Thanks Andrew. Another question im thinking of getting the sony strda2400es because its affordable at the moment and also I get discount off sony from work. will that the wharfedale's work well with that? Also for the TV im considering the sony 37w5500 the one that has been awarded 5 stars on what hifi. Do you think these are worthy investments. Its for my bedroom, which is about medium size.
