That's a nice try (and thank you for finally displaying a sense of humour, I have sometimes wondered whether removal of which was something that happened after the free lunch in a local hostelry), but that would make one of my recent statements ("there is one and precisely one patronising EDITED on this forum") patently untrue.

To make it clear that I meant absolutely no offence to any particular party, I have edited my post back on page 1. Sorry if anyone felt it was targeted at them - it really wasn't.

I have an extreme dead-pan sense of humour which is very difficult to convey in words - I dont think there's a smiley for it.

Although I am patronising by nature, I usually (but not always) do it with friendly intent. :)

Oh, and I've never had the free lunch.
