Question Desktop stands for the Denton 85th Anniversary

The Whaferdale measures 240 width x (275+12) depth mm. I'm looking at these: https://www.amazon.com/Gator-Frameworks-Desktop-Monitor-Speaker/dp/B084HPVQBK

They are 229mm x 305mm. Will this be OK?

Yes, the baseplates don't have to be same size as speakers. Would suggest some Blutack as well.
However clamping speaker stands to a desk is not ideal as you want to isolate them from said desk and the Dentons are not best placed this way anyway.
However you can do it as you wish.
