Have to say it's a fabulous FM tuner. Obviously you need a decent signal, but it's better than Freeview via the Sky Box. The only downside is a lack of stations - I can only get 5 stations. Otherwise, sound wise, it's great.

...that's 5 more than you'll get when they switch FM off :(
There was some talk of leaving only local radio on FM after switchoff......yippee!
Depends what this latest culture secretary does, but fortunately her predecessors have been kicking the can down the road for so many years, that it no longer resembles a can.

I picked up one of these Denons after some discussion about them a year or so ago. As I had anticipated, the display is a bit dull, but it’s readable. Funny how my even older Hitachi is crystal clear still - obviously a different type of display. It sounds surprisingly good though.

Unfortunately we no longer live near a strong transmitter like Wrotham, and just get a local booster station instead - and getting a decent FM aerial is another matter. But for a town dweller who can get by with a dipole, FM can still sound lovely.

The display on mine is quite dull. But as they can be picked up for peanuts, it's well worth getting if the signal is good enough. Cracking sounding.
