Hi.
I've just bought a Denon DM37DAB Micro System and a pair of Q Acoustics 1010i speakers. I also have speaker cables with 4mm banana plug connections on each end.
The stereo speaker outputs on the rear of the Denon System say that they connect via 4mm banana plug/binding posts, but I don't see how to connect the banana plugs? It seems that I could only insert the cables core wire into the speaker terminal and tighten it.
Where am I going wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The binding posts will have bungs inserted in them(EU regs)you need to remove the bungs from the centre of the binding posts with needle nose pliers or small flat blade screw driver etc, to be able to insert the banana plugs.

Certainly not the first to be caught on that one. The REALLY annoying thing about the DM37 speaker connection is that there is no way to put a spade terminal on it!

Yep, I was caught like that as well. I cut off the banana plugs from my Chord Silver Screen cable and fed the bare wire through. You live and learn.
