I have heard that Marantz AVRs reproduce music better than their Denon siblings. Has anyone compared the sound quality of the Denon X3600H (or X3700H) with the Marantz SR5015?

My budget is around US$1000. I live in the US (the Washington DC area, where things are a bit crazy now with the upcoming election).
