I have avr x2700 and it is not so good in my opinion. Heos without Deezer hifi support, anyway for listening the music is terrible - CD, phono and Heos useless. After 1 year of settings (stereo mode), I also bought the MultEq application, I came to the conclusion that it's not worth bothering anymore and I use an old Pioneer A amplifier that is much better than the Denon stereo music. I had the Onkyo 696, the sound is richer, Thx phenomenal, and the stereo music mode is much, much better than the Denon. The next receiver will be Onkyo
Surprised you guys missed the other big difference from 2700 to the 2800.
With the 2800 Denon have dropped the component and composite video in/outs that the 2700 has.
Not a huge deal but for some people it might be important.
