Hi ya!

Doe's anybody know when we can expect a review of the new Denon AVR 1910? I've read it is out in June but cannot find any actual reviews reviews yet.

Also if I could please get some opinions/advice - I currently have a LG HT902tb home cinema system and earlier in the year added a Panasonic BD35 blu-ray player (connected with optical cable). I am keen to upgrade to a seperates audio system to get the most out of the blu-ray's. I've been eyeing up an Onkyo 606 or Denon 1909 with the Kef 2005.3 speakers. (recently been reading about the Sony STR-DA2400ES) Do you think this is a worthy upgrade and am I likely to notice a difference? Money is very tight at the moment so it will be some time before I can actually buy some shiny new equipment but I can't stop thinking about it hehe 🙂

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

It's worth upgrading yes as you're not going to be getting a real full on cinema experience with your current kit, not like you'd get with separates, you really need to go for decent "proper" speakers though rather than little pods as the difference is what will make upgrading worthwhile doing.

I think the link, http://community.whathifi.com/forums/t/262798.aspx will take you to a post I sent to another chap in a one box vs separates debate, I think it is worth reading if you read the parts relevant to yourself and it will show that you could get a great improvement over your current system for around the £500 mark.

Hope this helps, let me know either way as I've gone through a similar process over recent months and its good to get other's opinions on similar experiences
