denon 2809 or yamaha rx 1900 please help

hello every 1 im replacing my pioneer d2011 after 5 years good service, with 1 of the above amps. does any 1 know wich is the beter of the two and why? i can get the denon for 700, and the yamaha for 760. iv noticed the denon only weighs 13kg, my pioneer is 19kg, and the yamaha is 17kg. is that a indication the denon wont be as good sound wise ? please help as i cant decide. thanks a lot.

I don't think that weight is a pointer. However, the 1900 is up from the Yamaha 863 and that beats the Denon.

I agree, go with the RXV 1900.
