Hello all, after many months of reading these forums i've taken the plunge and made my first post, so please be gentle. :)

I've bought a Sony 40W4000 and am looking at buying  the new Denon 1909 and B&W 685 Theatre package. Does anyone have any thoughts on this pairing? Would it be best to get the Onkyo 606 as per What Hifi's recommended pairings?  I've also got the panny BD30...

Cheers,

Dave.

I would get 875 personally for 0nly £200 more.Increase in power an upscaler to 1080p good for sky and a better sound all round, nothing wrong with 606 adequate to do the job thats what ive got but with all the silly price drops and new arrivals coming shortly i might even upgrade to something with a bit more power Denon seems to be the king of £400 - £500 price amps so if you only want to spend around that buget thats my choice or wait for the new Sony es range.
