News Decided on gear

After all the questions and answers, advice and listening I decided to go Beginner intro to HiFi, after all I am new to the hobby.. So my system will be a entry level Cambridge audio AXA35 amp paired with Elac Debut 2.0 B6.2 bookshelf speakers on monolith stands, using Monoprice Cables that I may upgrade.. Source will be CD player (still deciding) and Audirvana through my PC and a Schiit Modi 3+ DAC running Tidal and my library that I started ripping to FLAC.. Any thoughts or suggestions on CD Players transports or upgrading cables?? All advice welcome...

You could try an Audiolab 6000CDT CD transport, reviews say it performs well above it's price level.

Agree, you cannot beat the 6000CDT for the money
If this is too expensive any CD player or even BluRay disc player with a coaxial digital output will do, like the Sony UBPX700

For a few weeks I’d simply encourage you to enjoy it and stop worrying about specs, cables etc. Some care with setting up, and perhaps trying different positions for your speakers is worthwhile, but the cables you start with will be absolutely fine.

I ended up buying the Cambridge Audio CXC (V2) CD transport and a Music Hall-MMF-1.5 turntable.. Speaker stands never showed up so I ordered different ones.. So far really liking the setup...

This is the system you will remember fondly in a few decades and after spending 1000's whilst still not being content.

That is of course if you're not 70 already.
