bought it last week , the picture quality is amazing , really shows blu ray at its best , fantastic film too , beautiful scenery , great story , now officially my fav blu ray ...

Kevin Costner prefers the theatrical version, so if you want what the director intended, the current blu-ray will do just fine. I don't think he had that much to do with the so called Director's cut. He states that on the old dvd's commentary.
