Hi

I use my itouch 3rd gen to watch music videos (from itunes) and am thinking of upgrading my ipod dock to the Onkyo NS-D1 as i am currently using a standard apple dock, i am confused if i need a DAC to go with it, is it worth it as i dont know the quality of the music videos i watch

No, you don't need a DAC - you can use the digital output of the Onkyo dock straight into your receiver.
