DAC newbie problems with HD audio

I've recently purchased and wired up my Audiolab MDAC. Very pleased, however, now that I have switched from having the audio fed directly from the TV, to hooking the sky box directly to the DAC, the audio cuts out intermittently. It might only be for a millisecond every couple of minutes, but is getting to be annoying, especially when I had no problems prior to getting the DAC. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thanks

where is the HD audio?

what is playing the music? TV or Amp?

you have changed the settings on the box to 2 chanel only?

I've changed the box to stereo and the audio is through the amp via the MDAC, original source is the Sky HD box.

High jitter levels perhaps? Try changing the "jitter rejection" setting to medium or high bandwith if you haven't done so already.

Agreed fully plus also update your firmware to one of the most recent ones.
