I have a Cambridge DacMagic but now want to feed in three digital inputs - namely Sonos, Sky HD and a Pioneer Blu Ray. The DacMagic can only accept two digital inputs. The Beresford Caiman would suit but does anyone have a view if there is a better solution? The DAC will feed into an Arcam Solo. Mark

Ive not done this yet but could you not go ...

Sky hd to tv via hdmi audio...

Blue ray to tv via hdmi audio...

then digital out from your tv to the dacmagic, one input?

just thinking out loud...

Sorry lost here,

why send multi channel inputs to a DAC that can do nothing with them?

sky HD optical is 5.1. Blu Ray 5.1 or 7.1

OK the Sonos is 2 channel.

Sorry dont see what you are trying to do.

i dont think the arcam solo can do much with digital in, even if it had such a connection it cant decode sur sound like a home cinema receiver.

lost.com..

If the OP has a Solo, then it suggests he's running in stereo - he could have set the Sky HD and Blu-ray player to output in stereo.
