What will give the best sound quality when connecting a Cyrus CD 6SE to a Cyrus 8XP, the digital optical connection, or using the RCA connection? Or would it be hard to notice any difference?

I would try both.

When the 8XP was launched I asked a Cyrus rep at the Bristol Show what he would compare the DAC to and he said it was comparable to that in the 6SE......
