Cyrus to demo new amplifiers with laptop as source

Just had confirmation that Cyrus's new amplifier range will be demonstrated at the Bristol Show this weekend using both its SE CD players plus laptop source.

Our WHF demo is laptop-based, too, incidentally....

The new Cyrus amps have a USB DAC built in (I think).

Would the DAC get a better signal from a Sound card first rather than onboard sound?

Clare, I'd be interested to learn of the configuration of the laptop. Is it simply an Apple with iTunes slapped on or something more Heath Robinson?

I went into the Cyrus room a couple of times and did not see a laptop in sight. I did miss the Demo though so can anyone who saw it confirm if it was used??
