I have an old Cyrus 2 amp and PSX which I haven't used for years. As I remember it one channel stopped working. Rather than just get rid of it I am wondering if it's worth getting them/it repaired and would be grateful for any thoughts or recommendations of where to go to get it looked over, at a reasonable cost, by someone who knows what they are doing. I live in SW London.

Thanks, Steve

You could try removing the lid to see whether there is anything obvious, perhaps one of the electrolytic capacitors has had it (may notice fluid leaked onto PCB), you could try replacing... just a thought...

You could try ARS (amprepairservices.co.uk) they specialise in old Cyrus kit and will service/repair Cyrus2 + PSX for just over £100.

Thanks for your help everyone. ARS look like they might be the best bet.

Cheers, Steve

Let us know how you get on.

May be of help to others.
