Cyrus CD8x vs Arcam CD73

Am thinking of upgrading the Arcam for the CD8x to go with my 8vs2. Has anyone got any experience of the Cyrus, especially with my amp or speakers. As the CD player is end of line i have been offered a brand new one for £589 which i think is a bargain. I will be auditioning shortly but just wondered what people's experinces are. What can i expect from the Cyrus in comparison to my Arcam? Many thanks Tom

Save yourself £90 mate!

Very good cd player, if you like the Cyrus sound. Also fully upgradeable via either PSX-r or factory upgrades, a bargain.

That £500 could turn your CD73 into a CD192. If you demo a CD8x, also demo a CD192, see which you prefer and choose accordingly.
