Defrock me a Leema – I'll be back in time for breakfast!

Getting back on topic, that reminds me. Nigel Planer did a cover of 'Hole in my shoe' which was pretty whacky.

Im going to be controversial here...

Linkin Park > Adele - Rolling in the Deep

Although Adele has a remarkable voice, I think Linkin Parks acoustic version from the 2011 iTunes festival has so much more heart to it. Who would have thought someone so screamy and angsty to sing so pretty?
Just watched it over on YouTube and I have to agree with you, excellent rendition.

(Tried so hard to resist. Failed dismally.)

Something I can do for you (Not that I see the relevance incidentally)?

Put a cover over a Cyrus amp and it looks better. Put something over your head and...can you see where I'm going with this?

Nick Cave - In The Ghetto

Kate Bush - Rocket Man

June Tabor - Don't Think Twice

+ 1 for Jeff Buckley Hallelujah and for his version of Lilac Wine

In the spirit of mutual support I will +1 your In The Ghetto, although also like El Vez's In The Bhario

Frankie goes to Hollywood did a superior version of "Born to run" on the PleasureDome LP.

Also it would normally be sacrilege to cover a smiths tune but Dum Dum Girls did a great version of "There is a light which never goes out"

I have both, and enjoy both, but I think the White Stripes cover of Jolene is better:

Dolly Parton: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1plvBR02wDs

Sorry gel, but NO NO NO

I used to not like it when I first heard it but now I think it's awesome! Axl's voice when he is singing it live is just brilliant!

+1 Johnny Cash - Hurt

Imelda May - Tainted Love. Which is way better than Softcell's version. But Gloria Jones's original gives it a close run. We will not mention Marilyn Manson's attempt.
