Connections?

Hi all,

I have just tried to connect my Chord Carnival Silver Screen cables to my Rotel RA-04 with a lack of success. The connections on the cables just seem really big for the amps speaker connections. The cable connections are long and cylindrical shaped, but they are too thick maybe?

I am a complete and total novice to all this so help needed here if someone could.

Doesn't the Rotel come with protective caps on the speaker output terminals? Have you pulled these out? The chord bananas should then fit as they are a standard fit.

S'OK - the protective caps are there due to nannyish Euroregulations, and for that reason the instruction book isn't allowed to tell you they're removable.
