Connecting TV to HiFi Amplifier and Speakers

Am trying to connect my hifi amplifier and speakers to my new Sony Bravia TV. I have bought the right phono leads, but there are so many phono plugs on the back of the TV and amplifier. They are only identified by symbols. Can anyone tell me which ones to use please.

The manual will identify them, but there should be a pair of phono sockets together coloured red and white - red is right, white is left - on the back of the TV. If there are two pairs like this, then one will be sound in, which you don't want, and the other sound out, which you do. You won't do any harm if you connect to the audio in by mistake - you just won't get any sound.

On the amp you can use any line input - if you have one marked TV use that, if not use one of the aux inputs.
