Connecting Sky Anytime+ wireless adaptor to BT network

Hi all, please forgive if this has been covered before, but...
I recently bought a Sky wireless adaptor to enable Anytime+ but I can't make it connect to my network, which uses a BT HomeHub 3. I tried the Sky helpdesk, but they couldn't help, in the end suggesting I contact BT; you know, the usual thing.I'm using WEP security, as there are a couple of other devices which won't work with anything else. I tried changing this, but still can't make it connect.
Any ideas please??

I'm afraid I'm not able to specifically answer your question regarding the Sky/BT issues, but I would go for something along the lines of this:

Less faff - you plug it into the wall (be careful about plugging into plug-extenders, as mine doesn't work attached to my mains conditioner) and plug the ethernet into the router, then the other one into the mains by your Sky box, plugging the other ethernet into the connector in the Sky box and Bob is your mother's brother - sorted!

Works a treat! And stops you enter the minefield of router settings and security keys!

Thanks. The 'plugging into extenders' thing is a snagging point for me, as is the 'why have I paid for this and it doesn't work'

thing.

I rarely have trouble connecting anything to the wireless network (blu-ray, phone, laptop, streamer, etc.) but this one has me baffled. I should have just bought a cable!
