Connecting a Sub Woofer Onkyo/Tannoy

I'm saving up for an onkyo 606 and the tannoy F4 speaker package and have seen some photos of the connections.

The onky has one RCA phono output for subwoofer, and the sub with the F4 package has either 2 RCA (red and white(L+R)) or XLR.

And my question is if the amp is outputting from just one, and the sub is expecting 2....what do you do?

You only need one cable to connect to either left or right on the sub - makes no difference which you choose.
